چکیده

Abstract Background Displaced anterior segmental bronchus and pulmonary artery is extremely rare. A keen knowledge of such variations required in the field segmentectomy, for unawareness structural variation could lead to intra- postoperative complications. Case presentation 50-year-old female presented our department with suspected lung adenocarcinoma. Preoperative 3-dimensional computed tomographic bronchography angiography revealed variation: derived from middle lobe bronchus, accompanied by a distally distributed branch. right apical-posterior segmentectomy using inflation-deflation technique was performed successfully. Conclusions The observation proper application modern imaging technology operative greatly aid preventing complications happening.

Hypoplastic plexiform right anterior cerebral artery and absence of anterior communicating artery—A case report

Anterior cerebral artery is the smaller terminal branch of the internal carotid artery. It is one of the arteries involved in the formation of the arterial circle of Willis at the base of the brain. Its hypoplasia or absence can cause serious problems during neurosurgery or in the vascular dynamics of the brain. We found a rare variation of the right anterior cerebral artery during the dissecti...
